About Us

Boys & Girls of all ages and abilities welcome... The emphasis is on FUN! 

 

Our well established classes operated in Moseley, Birmingham from 2011, and moved to our own studios in Kings Heath March 2019. We cater for pupils of all abilities, needs & backgrounds, from toddlers & pre-school aged dancers upwards. Check out our Facebook Page or Instagram profile for all the latest news & photos.

2017 & 2018 we set about acquiring our own studios for the dance school, & other associated, complimentary classes/services. A fantastic facility has been secured in a prominent position on Kings Heath High Street, above Poundland & Clarks. The 10 year rolling lease completed 21/12/18 & following substantial internal alterations and full fit out, we launched classes 2nd March 2019. The venue has 3 dance studios, with a folding wall between 2 of them to allow a more flexible space.  The site has a kitchen and tuck shop, mirrored walls and free standing mirrors, wall mounted & freestanding ballet barres, Le Mark dance flooring, big screen projection equipment, Bose wifi sound system, dimmable LED lighting, wifi broadband, video security entry system, and much more besides!

 

During their time with us, children learn skills in Freestyle, Ballet, Tap, Theatre Craft, Modern Contemporary Jazz (IDTA syllabus); Acrobatics (Acrobatic Arts); Contemporary and Street (iD-Company), as well as developing social skills and confidence. All pupil's achievements are recognised & we take great pride in awarding a Star of the Week trophy in each Tiddlers, Infants & Juniors session. The skills learnt in class work towards Association examinations; as well as displays at local events and charity fundraising performances for family & friends. We held a big charity showcase in aid of Birmingham Children's Hospital at Birmingham Town Hall on 24/9/22 (finally, after 4 long years due to Covid!)

In addition to the mainstream classes for children, where all the fore mentioned disciplines are taught, we have stand alone Contemporary & Street sessions; Acrobatic Arts sessions for all ages & abilities; and the Shut Up and Dance... SQUAD! Teams of dancers who are being fast tracked, perform more frequently & compete. 

 

Although we work to progress and event schedules, the focus is on FUN! ...We want every child, every week, to have a great time & look forward to their next classes.
